Greame Stafford

After studying at Leeds College of Music, Graeme moved back to the North East of England, playing with various local bands before joining “Big People”, a band of different musical backgrounds put together to develop new music focusing on jazz and folk.

Through Live Theatre in Newcastle, Graeme began working and touring with various theatre shows. After moving again back to the North East, he set up a 90’s tribute band which progressed into “24 Hour Party People”. Following the movie’s release, this toured the UK and Europe extensively.

After several trips to Scotland and Skye over the years, Graeme has decided to make the move and look for new musical openings on Skye. With a bedded interest in the Scottish folk music and a love of the dance scene, the Peatbog Faeries were the perfect band for further musical experimentation.
